Trudi’s Kids was created in honor of Gertrude “Trudi” Scott, a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Jordan Valley who lost her life in a tragic automobile accident in March 2010. Trudi touched the lives of so many families in a career that spanned nearly 40 years. Trudi was a tireless advocate for children, particularly those who came from challenging economic or family situations and her influence and strong example are still felt throughout the state of Missouri.

Brooks Milller, CEO of Jordan Valley Community Health Center said:
“Trudi dedicated her life to helping children from underprivileged homes receive quality health care and the love and attention they need to succeed in life. We will never forget her and her contributions to the community and to Jordan Valley will live on through this special program named in her honor.”
