NextMD is the internet portal to your healthcare! NextMD is a new service that Jordan Valley is excited to bring to you that will allow you to communicate with our practice in a unique and exciting new way.

 

What is NextMD?

With NextMD, you can connect with your doctor through a convenient, safe, and secure environment.

 

In order to access your account a few simple steps are needed:

 

  1. 1 Jordan Valley Community Health Center will need to know the email address you would like to use in order to access your secure healthcare information. This will be collected when you come into the office.

  2. 2 The next step is to obtain an “Enrollment Token.” This token is tied your email address and is needed so that you can begin setting up your account. Once we have your email address, we will immediately provide you with your unique Enrollment Token, as well as directions to the website where you can complete the setup of your account. Due to privacy laws, this will only be given to you in person, when you come into our office. You will only need this secure number for the initial set-up of your NextMD account.

  3. 3 Once we have registered you on our end, you will receive an e-mail from NextMD that will provide you with a link to enroll and log into. You will be asked for your Enrollment Token and your email address. This is followed by further set-up instructions where you choose a User Name, personal Password, and your personal Security Question.

 

Once you have completed the enrollment and logged in, you will be taken to the Jordan Valley Community Health Center NextMD home page. Some of the features available to you here are;

Inbox/Sent Items
Just like your regular email, you will be able to send and receive emails from us through the secure NextMD internet portal.

 

View/Pay Statement
This will allow you to check on your account status and make payments online without the hassle of mailing anything in.

 

Appointment Request
You will be able to get online and request appointments at your convenience. When the appointment is fulfilled a representative from Jordan Valley will notify you.

 

It is only through this portal that you will be able to access information and communicate with us. You will receive an e-mail in your personal e-mail account from “NextMD Notifications”. When you get this notification this is how you know that updated information has been made available to you by your provider. You will be directed to log into NextMD to view the appropriate information. For privacy reasons, no healthcare information will be sent to your personal email account from NextMD.
