A self-funded medical plan is available to all full-time employees scheduled for 40 hours per week. Dependent coverage is available. Coverage is effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment and during open enrollment each January.
A dental plan is available to all full-time employees scheduled for 40 hours per week. Dependent coverage is available. Coverage is effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment. Benefit pays 100% of preventative evaluations and treatments and 80% or 50% of all other procedures. An orthodontia benefit pays 50% of treatment to a maximum of $1000 for dependents under the age of 18.
A vision plan is available to all full-time employees scheduled for 40 hours per week. Dependent coverage is available. Coverage is effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
Flexible Spending Account
A pre-tax withholding program is available to all full-time employees to help pay for eligible medical and dependent care costs.
Paid Time Off
PTO is available to all full-time employees and is accrued on the 15th of each month. Non-exempt (hourly) employees accrue PTO at the rate of 10.66 hours per month and exempt (salaried) employees accrue at the rate of 14 hours per month.
After 30 days of employment, full-time employees receive pay for nine holidays each year including: New Year’s Day, Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr., Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
A 403(b) retirement plan is available to all employees over the age of 21 immediately upon hire. After one year of service JVCHC will match up to 5% of your annual salary. Employer contributions are 100% vested after 3 years of employment.
UNUM provides the option of supplemental insurance plans including Accident, Short Term Disability, Critical Illness, and Supplemental Life.
A very comprehensive Employee Wellness Program is available to all employees upon hire. Participation is encouraged in areas such as fitness, nutrition, stress management and smoking cessation.
Life Insurance/Accidental Death & Dismemberment
Available to all full-time employees. Coverage is effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment. Non-exempt (hourly) employees receive life insurance in the amount of $50,000 and exempt (salaried) employees receive one times their annual salary minimum of $50,000 and maximum of $150,000.
JVCHC is an approved site through the National Health Service Corps and the Health Professional Loan Repayment State of Missouri program. Loan repayment options are available to qualified providers.
